Three Kings of Orient

“In my floral designs for this Christmas, I have revisited traditional Christmas decorations. Thus, the holly and the ivy, which have been used in Christmas decorations since from at least the 15th century, are featured in each of my floral designs. For more texture, movement, and points of interest, and following tradition, other foliage used are also evergreens. In the process of researching traditional Christmas decorations, I learnt that the holly represents Jesus Christ, the ivy represents the Virgin Mary, and evergreen represents eternal life.

In keeping with traditional Christmas decorations, the colours of my floral designs are red, green, and gold (the first colour associated with Christmas and one of the three gifts of the Three Wise Men).
