Flower Care

Bouquets

Please do not put the bouquet in very cold water; we suggest that you use lukewarm tap water for longer lasting flowers.

Change the water with clean lukewarm tap water when it looks cloudy and re-cut the stems.

Please place the bouquet away from direct sunlight. Remove any wilting flowers or foliage as they occur, in order for the rest of the flowers to continue blooming.

Please do not display the bouquet near fruits and vegetables. This is because fruits and vegetables produce the ageing hormone ethylene gas, which will shorten the life of the flowers.

Roses

If any of the roses goes limp prematurely (as shown), we suggest you gently submerge the flower in clean lukewarm tap water (as shown) for about 20 seconds and re-cut the stem (by about 3 cm / 1”).

Anthurium

Please wear rubber gloves when handling Anthuriums. This is to protect them from the natural salt found on human skin, which can result in black decolourisation.

Phalaenopsis Orchid

Please place away from direct sunlight and draught. The orchid should last longer in a cooler temperature (around 20 degrees Celsius).

Please change the water with clean lukewarm tap water when it looks cloudy. The water should be just deep enough for the stems to drink water [generally around 2 inches (5 cm)]. If the orchid looks limp, we suggest you gently submerge the whole stem completely in clean lukewarm tap water (as shown) for about 15 minutes and re-cut the stem afterwards. Please handle gently as the orchids are delicate.

Vanda Orchid

The Vanda orchid can go limp after around 2-3 days. If this happens, we suggest you gently submerge the whole stem completely in clean lukewarm tap water (as shown) for up to 1 hour and re-cut the stem afterwards. Please handle gently as the orchids are delicate.

Please change the water with clean lukewarm tap water when it looks cloudy.
