June - A Summer Solstice’s Dream

This year, Summer Solstice falls on 21 June 2023. It is an ancient Scandinavian tradition for single people to put 7 different flowers under their pillow before going to bed on the eve of Summer Solstice, in the hope that they may dream of their future partner. It is said this tradition inspired Shakespeare in his work, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
