大吉大利 Wishing You Good Luck

“In the process of designing, I am always inspired by the seasonal flowers and plants chosen. For the Chinese New Year floral designs, I have combined a mix of lucky flowers and plants and massed them densely together to give rhythm, balance, harmony, and a colourful impact. The Chinese New Year floral designs feature: lucky bamboo, butterfly orchid, peony, chrysanthemum, and kumquat (for, amongst other things, good luck, fortune, wealth, happiness, and longevity). I have also used lucky numbers, such as 21 stems of lucky bamboo and, for the flowers, a combination of lucky numbers such as 8, 9, 18, 23, 28."
